Looking for an electrician for security cameras?
You need a low-voltage pro. Security cameras run on low-voltage network cable, and that's the work we do every day. Pacific Digital is a C-7 licensed low-voltage contractor.
C-7 licensed low-voltage contractor, CSLB #1141410
Why cameras are low-voltage work
Most modern security cameras get their power and their video through one network cable. That's called PoE, short for Power over Ethernet, so each camera doesn't need its own outlet.
In California, this work has its own license: C-7, Low Voltage Systems. The state lists closed-circuit video systems under it by name.
We're not electricians, and we don't do high-voltage electrical work. If your job needs a new outlet, we tell you before we start, so you can have an electrician add it.
